194CC Quality??

I'm seriously considering buying a new or late model Cobia center console model 194CC. Does anyone own one and have any comments on them? Quality, ride, value, engine requirements? If not the 194, how about similar models? Thanks

I have a 2002 Cobia 250 WA. I got a great deal on her and I think you get a lot of boat for the money. The hull seems solid, but the fit and finish of everything topside is kind of crappy. A CC would have less to worry about though, so maybe it's worth it. I've been in cheesier boats, Trophy, Seaswirl Striper, and I've been in much better boats like Grady White and Parker. Make sure the motor is good.

There has been improvements across the board in Cobia boats since Maverick bought Cobia.Their new facility in N.C. is state of the art and warranty issues are addressed promptly.
