Just wondering if anyone had heard anything concerning the online Mercruiser Manuals? I was able to view the manuals I need (95 bayliner capri,3.0) on boatered, or boatfix.com one of those,, anyway that link disappeared also.. If there gone forever what's a good place to purchase paper copies? Or even a CD if possible..

I've tried to save with no luck,, I even tried to save it to disc and CD not to mention the hard drive, each time it will save the portion I have open but not the whole thing. But that was from the merc site,, i'll try again on this one. Thanks.

Do This:
Start a new Folder on your desktop (Right click on empty spot of desktop, click NEW, then click Folder. Name it what you want)
Now, open and save each section of the manual into that folder.
Now you have the complete manual in one folder.
You can also rename each section. As an example, if you save section 3A of service manual #6, it will be called 6A2R3.pdf All you have to do is change the 6A2R3 to something creative, like Section 2A

Re: Any New Info on the Online Merc. Manuals?

Can anybody point me in the right direction to the online manuals in the link posted above?. I have a 97 3.0lx 4cyl merc with an alpha 1 drive.

Im thinking I want #6 for the drive or do I want 16 for alpha 1 genII?
And im thinking 13 for the motor? DOnt want to save the wrong ones.
Thanks

manual # 23(98-01 454&502) isn't there. Does anyone have it saved that can e-mail it to me?

I saw this on another boating forum:

I received a call from Security at Merc today - this link should never have been published since it was supposed to have been password protected and only for the eyes of Merc Trained Mechanics.
