What does it take to put an Alpha 1 Outdrive on a prealpha gimble or can you? "should you?" shaft length,diameter, spline, #of splines?

It's not going to happen with your 69 model.

Not without a very large hammer, lots of ali welding skill and tons of luck!!!

Or, start at the prop and replace things as you move towards the harmonic balance bolt.
