[oops!]

so im sittin here....repling to a post....
my girl walkes up and says shes goin shoppin...thinkin about new jeans...
i say "hun i love you just the way you look and btw you look great...
but you can have any thing you want... you have a job.. youve earned it..are you going to meet friends at the mall? have a great time".

(see im not dumb....good responce eh?)

she starts putzing around for a bit...bout 5 mins....then she says "what do you want for dinner hun...what can i get you"...(i just went grocrey shopping)

we chat about it, settle on pasta, with jumbo shrimp mushrooms and scallops.

she starts putzin again.......another 5 mins

i finally realize whats goin on,
i said "hun are you asking me for money? is that why you havent left to see your friends yet? cause you need money for shopping?"

she says "ya"........i hand her a hundred bucks and say .....
"why didnt you just ask for the money"

she says "I DID" ...."i told you i was goin shopping"
she kissed me and left

......WHAT THE HECK?????

I was raised with 3 sisters....have 2 ex wives and one present that I've been married to for 20 yrs...I can honestly tell you that you never will figure them out....
a number of yrs ago I was a wedding photographer...and invariably the groom would ask me for advice...I'd look him square in the eyes and tell him...if there is one thing you have to learn...and if it's the only thing you learn in a marriage...learn the 2 words...it will save your sanity....those 2 words are ..."YES DEAR"......learn those and life will be soooooo much easier....

As for understanding them, oops,if you do that, and make a translator for the rest of us males, you will make all kinds of money!

A reliable translator for this situation has never existed. No matter what wild claims or promises the said translator implies there will come a time the system fails. Resources are better used on maintenance items such as jewelry, vacations, day spas, flowers, dinners and such.

Yeah, we feel your pain! I do strongly believes that every woman should come with a very specific user/service manual. Yesterday, my dearest told me that she's just like her mother. There have to be a specific steps to everything, everything is very delicate and complex and fragile. If one step is mess up/miss, the whole thing is fubar. I told her "so you're telling me, y'all are like a puzzle with a death trap behind it. Like if you're going into a treasure cave and you didn't have everything figured out, the whole cave would crumble and trap you in it forever" She said, "yeah, kinda like that". I feels like Indiana Jones, avoiding death trap is part of my everyday life. Every new day is a new adventure. I pleaded to her to just draw me a frigging map already that way it saves everyone the aggravation. She just looked at me and laughed as if to say, you wish.

LOL, here's the way to fix this problem - be a father to a child who's momma is someone that you are no longer involved with, and have a GF who has her own home but likes living in it better than yours! Works great!

And they do ask for real money, but most are willing to settle for a credit card.
