55' 10HP QD-16 manual/parts?

Hey all,

Anyone have a copy of an owners manual and/or service manual for a 1955 QD-16?

I'm also wandering the best place to buy replacement double line fuel hose for the OMC pressurized fuel tank and a new connector from the hose to the motor?

Better sit down before you ask the price of the connector. Or, they are still available new from a Johnson dealer for only $119.00.

I've got the connector, it's just a little rusty where you pull the handle thing back to connect it... no big deal. I'll use it!! :0

When looking on ebay for a manual, does it need to be specifically for the QD-16 or is there a particular range of years or models that will cover it?

If the connector leaks air or fuel, you can put new O rings in it for about $2 each.

Buy the one for your year. They come up all the time. I'll soon be looking for one as well - so don't bid against me lol.

Funny you should post that, samo. I just purchased one of those manuals. Also picked up a QD-15 manual from the same seller. I often buy manuals from that seller. That's as good of a deal as you will get on eBay.
