Hi all,
Anybody happen to know a good source with a lot of selections. I got the cover with the boat last spring (used). But all the strap material just snapped. The cover is in excellent condition and I really don't want to go out and buy a new one at this time. I tried looking for the manufacture tag on it to see who made it, to no avail. There is one small one, on the rear that states, "Made in china", and a lot #. But no manufacturer....Great.......
The straps have a loop sewn on one end so you can wrap around the trailer frame. And the other end just has the male end that snaps into the female end thats sewn into the cover.
I have searched the world wide web for the last 3 months looking for these specific straps to no avail. And I need 17 of them!
Worst case scenario, I go and buy the 1" wide strapping and make my own.

go to lowes, they have gromets that you can install, then use bungee cords, rope, etc.

Or you can go to any big fabric/sewing supplies/arts and crafts type store. You'll be the only guy in there  Buy new webbing and plastic buckles too. There is a very good selection at the one near my house. Sew on new ones, or you can take the straps and cover to a Taylor and they'll do it for around $50.

Good idea QC, never thought of that. I'm not shy, I'll be the only guy in there!

Tashasdaddy, your idea would be ok except for 2 things.
1) If I was gonna put that much effort in it, I might as well go with the "make my own" and keep it looking original. Which by the way, is a good looking cover even if it's made in china.
2) It's for my baby

Thanks for the replies guys

don't know what kinda connections ya got on yer cover. mine is supposed to have straps going all the way around it too. here was my answer to that. i just do the other end of the bungee to the trailer...
