Viking is a good place to start. Usually the mfgr puts his name on his product. But with the age of that boat, maybe the trail is cold.

I'm not 100% certain, but that rig looks like one of the old T-Crafts.

Re: Who built this boat

I'm leaning towards a Viking. Hard to compare it to my 78 model T-Craft, and it seems to me that the hull (even though I know that boat is older than mine), it is a little different then what I have seen for a thundercraft but I could be wrong. The steering wheel could of always been replaced with a thundercraft steering wheel, I happened to use the wheel off of my thundercraft on my bass boat, but it no longer has the decal. Heck it's hard to tell, allot of them hulls looked similar back then.

Thanks to you guys that responded. I'll try posting more photos to see if anyone has a better idea but, you've helped. What I need to know is what it may have looked like before the seats were removed.

The ga registration paper card usually have the manufacturer information and the hin. If you dont have it they can issue you one with the registration numbers in the side of the bow.

Have you tried to contact the GA DNR with the registration numbers? They probably have website link to contact them. They might charge a very small fee to get the paperwork from them.
I had to contact the CO DNR when I registered my boat in IL to get the information I needed. The paperwork cost me $3.00 from CO.
Good Luck!

It's entirely likely that it is a Thundercraft AND a Viking. Thundercraft used "Viking" as a model name back in the 1970s...
The hull looks similar, but with some deck differences, to an MFG "Gypsy" I had...

Re: Who built this boat

Talyn, have you looked at the registration? I know for a fact that GA will name the make and model plus the hin there. If you dont have the registration give the GA dmv the vessel number, looks like GA 0281BT and they might give you the information you need.
2 question comes to mind.
What have you tried so far?
What are you needing the information for? (you might not need it after all)
Good luck.
