Lowrance Plugs

I need to install and remove my bow mount fish finder all the time. I'm currently stuck with Lowrance because my trolling motor has a built in Lowrance transducer. Getting the power and transducer plugs off and on, on the unit is a hassle because the plugs are made to be water tight. Does anyone have a better way of plugging them in? I've already bent some pins. I know that Hummingbird uses a plug and twist lock to make them water tight and wondered if they make one for Lowrance.

All the built in I have seen are universal 200 KHZ and you install the plug for your depth finder.

I agree with Boatist. I suspect the locator plug merely needs a drop of silicone lube to make it slide in a little easier. My older Eagle had that style connector as well and is never an issue if kept slick with lube. If you are bending pins you are not getting the plug aligned properly before pushing it in. The locating keys are there for a reason.

Built in Lowrance transducer? What kind of TM is this?

Motorguide Wireless Trolling Motor with built-in transducer. I like it a lot except, everytime I hit a button (forward, reverese, speed), the troll motor "beeps". Kinda annoying.

I'll try this...Thanks for the tip.
