We will need a model number to id the year.

According to Peter Hunn's Old Outboard Book, that serial number was built in 1949.

I have a few of the hd-25's. They are finicky to work on and parts are hard to come by. Let us know if you get it running.

i am going to replace the impeller because it is probably no good. does anyone know how to get to the impeller?
