need help with float level

Dear Sirs!
I have Mariner 10HP Maraphon 1991 year. Now i'm trying to adjust correctly carburetor. But I don't now what is correct level of float in float chamber of carburetor. I have service manual only for 1995 and above, and this manual says that measure is 1 inch.
Please advise on below 1995 models was the same measure or smth else?

Yes, the float level is 1" on both engines
