HELP!!!!!!115h/p no fuel

i have a 80 johnson v4 115hp it will start and idle fine but when im on the lake and running it just stops. the primer bulb sucks in like its not venting.

Are you sure it IS venting?

Could also have crud in the pick-up tube.

I would start by ensuring that your tank is vented, and not obstructed, as IW stated. Also could be your primer bulb. Lastly,if applicable, and not running a remote tank, check into the anti syphon valve. Check where the rubber fuel line attaches to the fitting at the built in tank. They are notorious for sticking in a semi closed position. You can remove it, and knock out its inner components, or simply replace it.

its a 5 gal external tank i have tried it w/o the cap on same problem. as far as trouble shooting i have only removed the in line fuel filter (witch was new)and their was still no change.

Try another tank and fuel line. I would bet on the primer bulb. Also, You might have the bulb installed wrong, so see if the arrow is pointing to the engine.

I would use a 3/8" fuel line and fittings and no way 1/4"
