I am looking to install a water pressure gauge on my suzuki df70. When ordering the actual gauge do I need the 0-15psi or the 0-30psi gauge?

0-30 PSI. A 0-15 PSI gauge would be nearly pegged anytime you are more than off-idle. The idea here is to install a new impeller at the same time. Then note the pressure at idle and wide open throttle (under way of course). That provides a base-line so any deviation from those readings down the line indicates the impeller is needing replacement.

Re: Water pressure gauge of suzi df70

Thanks for the help, that was going to be another question. I want to order the impeller kit but I am reading mixed reviews on whether the kit comes with instructions or not. I am also searching all over the internet on what I thought was a video showing how it is done on a suzuki engine but can't find that either? Anyone know if this kit comes with instructions or not? Anyone know where the impeller change video on a DF suzuki went?

I have done impeller changes on a 95 yamaha 200hp saltwater series engine but I imagine there are small differences that I don't want to mess up....

I have the same motor and was wondering where I should put my t connector into the water line to get the water pressure reading. I would really appreciate the directions. Thanks.
