Hello everybody i want to introduce myself first bc i am a new member with a question. My uncle just sold me his 1996 modle force 75hp bc it want wanting to run right. he told me it could be as simple as the air/fuel mixture screw needing adjusment, but did have a manual to know the proper settings. Can someone please tell me where to start to achieve the optimal proformance out of my force? Like where to start after seat and so on? Thanks guys!

it's on this forum. Have you tried searching for it? Plenty of people including me have asked the same question.

I've got the same motor and It's stuttering alot and cleans out at WOT. But Idle is not good. You';ll need to do a Lync and Sync. I've got the book at home...I'll try and get the info tonight. but search for "Link and sync"

Ifishhard,

Did you check the responsed to your original thread on 2-28-08? I gave the instrucitons on how to set the mixture. Also, as somelse responded there is no magic bullet, each engine is different and must be tuned. Other things you will need to look for on the site is cleaning / rebuilding the carb and de-carbing the engine.
