I am working on rebuilding my 1964 starcraft aluminum 18' holiday I am missing the ends on my rubrails they are aluminum not plastic as I have found on different sites . Also I removed a used glass walkthrough windshield off of an old rinell boat to replace the plastic one on my old boat. When I was removing the screws/ bolts that held the old windshield in place several of them broke off as they were very rusted. The bolts slide in a channel on the bottom of the windshield they are kind of rounded on the bottom and flat on the sides where can I find replacements? my local hardware store has a large selection of bolts but nothing like this. thanks for any info

Are the bolts you are looking for similar the tiolet bolts? The type that bolt a tiolet to the floor flange.

Ayuh,.....

I ran into the Same problem before,.....

What I did was,... Find some 1/4" SSteel Carrage Bolts,.....
Then I ground 2 sides off the heads so they'll slide into the mounting track.....

Homemade replacement bolts,... That are Better than the originals.....;)

West marine list the windshield bolts in their catalog but they cant get them there no longer made.

Johnny bolts (toilet bolts) are the way to go.

You may need to grind then a little though so they slide in the groove.

Nice work guys. I'm in the same spot in my re-do. I'll check out the toilet flange bolts at home depot or a plumbing shop.
