Weight Capacity/Model Question

I recently purchased a 12' fiberglass Tri-hull boat, the boat has been worked up into a mini bass boat. The questions that I have are: 1) has anyone seen this model of boat (it was estimated by the person I bought it from to have originated in the 1960's or 70's). 2) does anyone know what the weight capacity might be on this boat, I am not overly concerend but I was unable to find any markings on the boat that might shed some light, I want to put a largish live well on it (100qt cooler converted) and wanted to make sure that with the decking in place and 2 grown men that this wouldnt tip the scales. I would try a weight test but the lakes are still covered in ice up here :(.

Any help would be great, I will attach some pictures.

Thanks,

brytowski

Re: Weight Capacity/Model Question

a 10 hp motor 2 150lb men and a small cooler is probably max. you don't have room for a big cooler. also be careful, sitting that high, in that boat, the wrong move will send your buddy swimming. the boat will have a very high center of gravity, other words "tippy".

Re: Weight Capacity/Model Question

well there is no motor except for a trolling motor at the moment. I am used to fishing in a canoe so this seems like a nice upgrade but I guess we will have to see once we get it on the water. The person I bought it from mentioned to me as long as 2 people are pretty much not jumping around it isnt too bad as far as tipping goes
