Re: trophy wiring

Best thing...call them and ask them to send you the schematics. That's what I'd do!

Re: trophy wiring

I have a 1996 2002FF with a 175hp Mercury. The wiring diagram that I got off the Trophy site was accurate and the installation of a temperature guage was a snap. The tan wire on the port head for the sensor was the same tan wire under the instrument panel that connected to the guage. I purchased the guage and sending unit from the local Mercury dealer and all the wiring that came with the guage matched up perfectly with the existing wiring. In going through the wiring on the boat for pumps, lighting, etc. I have found the color codes to be reliable (for easier future reference I made labels on the computer and labled wires as I went along). Tip: Enlarge the wiring diagram on your copier and make several copies to make it easier to read when working on the boat (older eyes). Hope this helps.
