I tried to upload what I thought were jpeg, but were converted to jpe on upload. This took my site allowable size from 56kb to 17kb and the smallest I could take the photos was 23kb. I had to convert to gif to upload and they have horrible resolution. Advice? Thanks.

Re: Need help from a photo upload guru.

1) Go to Photobucket.com

2) Open a free account

3) Put your full size jpeg onto Photobucket

4) Copy the last line below the picture you just uploaded onto Photobucket (says "IMG CODE") and paste it into your post here.

The line of text will look like this:

[IMGxxx]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v682/46auto/PVC.jpg[/IMGxxx]

EXCEPT it will not have the "xxx" inside the brackets - I added those so the text would show instead of the picture!

If I put the text above in without the "xxx" it looks like this:

PVC.jpg

Hope that's what you were trying to do.

Once you finish uploading your pics into Photobucket, it should look siimilar to the Photobucket page shown below:

picexample.jpg

Then just copy the line circled in red (IMG Code) and paste it into your post here.

if you want to post multiple pics, just check the little box at the lower left of the pic. the scroll to the bottom of the page, clik generate html. it will go to another page, scroll down to thumbnails, clik the center it will copy, then you just paste into your thread. then the viewer can clik and enlarge the pic.
