HELP hooking up telelfex cables,OMC box

Can anyone help me with a diagram or info on hooking up my throttle/shift cables to an OMC binnacle single lever control box #0175257.I'm not sure which holes to use or which lever inside is which?

I could by studying the box "in person". You can do the same. As you move the lever from neutral toward either forward or reverse, you will see one of the inner levers move, then stop and then the other one moves as you throttle up.

The one that moves first, then stops, is the shifter.

Again, study it and use common sense, keeping in mind what has to be accomplished and the direction that it needs to move the controls on the motor and you can figure it out.

Read the instructions 10 times.
Some cable holes are for Merc, some for OMC, etc.
The teleflex I installed worked perfect.
Pay close attention to your factory manual when adjusting at the engine.
