Hi,

I need to get a rebuild kit for my carb per prior advice from this forum. I am hoping you guys can help me know which kit to get.

The markings on the tag on my carb reads

MCM 170/470
1389-8489

Can you tell me how I know which kit to buy. It is not the original motor from the boat, so I am not sure of the year.

Laddies, this post helped me solve my problem too. I know it's been a while but that's the beauty of the Internet. EVERYTHING is a permanent record now.
