For us northern people (at least in Ohio) this has been one of the snowest, coldest, and not even close to the average temps for the month of March. It is so aggravating cause I can't get any outside work done to the boat. And then to think I want to launch in a couple of weeks? Brrrrrrrrrrr

TD,,,,,put on another sweater and maybe an extra pair of socks..........I'll just be glad to put the long johns away for the season,,,,,,they be bad for the skin conditions..........SS

Man I agree it got to 40 here today 23 last night , the kids were trying to go out side without there jackets !!! I dont think so !!!!! lol they were talking mybe 50 this weekend !!! I WANT TO SEE SPRING !!!!! PLEASE !!! lol John

It's 42* right now; low tonight is 33. The ground is still about half-covered with snow.

My office is next to a linear park path, next to a creek. There've been people walking and jogging on the path in T-shirts today.

I ran the boat the last five days, 80 - 90, Colorado River and down into Lake Havasu Sorry. Couldn't help it . . . Well there was a little wind, and the girls said it was freezing unless we were wakeless or not underway for the guys it was pretty much perfect, no shivers and no sweat, shirts off most of the time

Back in the late 70's, I moved from doing a 3 year tour in Brunswick Maine to Milton Fla. Wouldn't you know that the first night I stayed in Florida, I woke up to 3 inches of snow on the ground. Of course it was gone by noon. My new neighbors blammed it on me of course. They said I brought it with me. They said when the saw the snow tires on my vehicles something was wrong.

Yeah, the north is cold in the winter,,,,,but NO BUGS! sniff sniff, no boating in the winter either ,,,,,,more sniffles and crying right now But there is still ice fishing!

So what did I do?
Summerized and fired up the boat on the 24th.
The wife doesn't know it, but both of her heating pads went on the outdrive and engine.

Sunday, I get to rip the carpet out of the boat, do something to reinforce my bow floor, install new pedestals and carpet:redface:
