Looks like a nice boat, I have always likes the idea of having 2 motors when I go out into the ocean, if one breaks down for who knows why, you can always get home and back to port

Boat is nice design, my one hesitation would be the motors. During that era it was Yamaha 2-strokes that were the preferred choice. Of course if you planned on repowering in the not distant future, then no matter.

I think the boat looks great! wouldn't do me much good up here in the North but if I was down there that would be my choice.

I know its a dumb thing to notice but.....I think it's kinda funny that the boat in the logo at the top of the page is dragging that marlin backwards thru the water.

What is the fuel capacity on that boat? It will largely determine how far you can travel out into the ocean. A 25 footer should be OK for 20 miles off or so. Depending on the distance to the ocean and the distance north or south of the inlet you want to travel, you will want 1/3 fuel out. 1/3 fuel in and 1/3 fuel in reserve. That boat will get about 1 MPG, so you can do the math..

Nice rig. Set up well for offshore fishing. Sportcraft was a very popular boat in the 90's around the Great Lakes. They went out of business in the early 2000's and are now back. How many hours on the power? It looks like the previous owner was a serious fisherman. It also looks like He/She took good care of the boat.

I'm going to mention something that came from a conversation about offshore boats. Apparently, certain length boats do better in some areas than others. For example, around here, people don't like them in the 21-27' range. They say they beat you to death on the swells. I have no idea if this is true, but there are certainly enough people on this board that go offshore that can chime in. Again, don't beat on me...I just heard people talking about it...it sure is a good looking boat, though...

Running to fast maybe? I don't know. I have 1978 23'6" Stamas and have no complaints, don't run but about 19-20 knots (usually a little bit slower) max cruising offshore in any any size boat(and I have fished up to 48'). I like this size range for me because it's easy to trailer and fish different areas (east coast, west coast, Caribbean, Baja and the Pacific coast, one of these days I'll get up towards Alaska).
