Helpful folks,
I have a question for the group out there. I have a 1977 Johnson 115 that will run great. If you turn the throttle up to give it some fuel it will start like a charm and runs great, but when you pull it back to idle it will run for a few seconds and kill. I have had the carb rebuilt and i'm trying to figure out what could be the problem to go after next. I am not sure if there could be a timing issue somewhere or if anyone has an idea of why it would run great at speed but kill at idle. Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch.
Anthony
