Well I think I got my shifter slinky-drive problem solved, so, last time I ran my Mark 10 the exhaust plate was letting water out so I took off the plate and figured I'd replace the gaskets in there. Of course, they were all broken and some of the pieces were gone, most likely fell off while it was running all the years ago. And again, naturally, absolutely NO dealers carry them any more - they are 'obsolete' as they all said. Is it me, or should they still manufacture regular tune up parts for all engines
Does anyone know where I can find these things? There are three gaskets and they are for a '57 Merc Mark 10... if part numbers will help any, I will post them soon! Thanks in advance!
