Just aquired a 55 hp, 1968 TRL-10R Johnson outboard.
In going through things, I discover a home made
bushing that goes on before the prop. The parts books show
an original OMC # 0382355, and online references
show that it was replaced by OMC # 0386072.
I found this thrust bushing for sale on two sites,
but both wanted $57 bucks for it. I'm not even
sure if I have the right prop. The parts book also
shows a splined washer / bushing under the
prop nut, that looks to be a 1/2" thick. What
mine has on it now is just a 1/8" thick flat washer
with splines. Any one have measurements of the
thrust bushing and washers that go on this
model Johnson? Thanks!

the 1/8th inch is the spacer washer goes between the pro and nut, is correct, they used metal before plastic. this is the thrust washer, no splines, approx 1/2 inch thick.
