It came back to life today

Ive been posting about my 1960 merc 300 and my plans to crank it again. I had some magneto problems which appear to be fixed, GOOD NEWS is I cranked it with no trouble today. Let it run a couple of minutes and then shut it down because I havent cleaned and put in the carb kits and it was flooding onto the engine cowing pretty bad. Folks here really gave good advice and back up which helped me. Thanks

They were great old motors and they got a lot of bad press from the JohnnyRude people when one it tuned up properly there was no Rude that could compare with them. Enjoy It!
