I have read about Smart Tabs and their benefits in this forum and am thinking of adding them to my 20ft Aluminum boat. However, from the attached picture, I'm not sure that I have enough room. I already have the transducer attached to where the right Tab would go. Should I relocate the transducer or what is the solution ?. I would welcome any comments/suggestions. Thank you

It looks like you almost have enough room already. I just measured my SX's and they're 9 1/2" Wide. Just my .02, but I would move the transducer in a little towards the center if you have to. You'd have enough room for the tab and it will be at the outer edge of the transom which is best for maximum effectiveness. I have ST's on my 18 1/2' FG hull and I love them. I had to mount mine in a little further in from the edges to clear my tiedowns, but they work great.

move the transducer, smart tabs are the best bang for the buck.
