Stator or what?

I have a 1984 4 cyclinder mercury and the motor fires on cylinder 1,2 and not on 3,4. Coils are good.Crossed the red to the red/white and the blue to blue/white, no change. Could this be the power pack? Is the power pack and switch box intergrated?

Flip your trigger wires , they are the brn/violet/wht/wht-blk or blk. If still no fire replace pack and install a extra grnd from pack to block.

Some of the 4's idle on 2 and run on 4.
