Deck Paint

I've been trying to decide what kind of floor covering I want to use on my '89 17ft Bayliner. I was pretty sure that I wanted to use the two part garage floor epoxy, but upon further research it doesn't seem like it would work. My hull is constructed of the polyester resin, so it supposedly wouldn't adhere properly. In addition, upon calling Quickcrete, they said it would probably be too rigid (stiff) upon curing to last properly (too much vibration and flexing of the hull for this epoxy).

My question is to those who have used this system, what have been your results?

I have resin covered ply asking as the deck, tabbed to the hull, so I'm worried about adhesion and durability.

some guys have suggested rhino lining....(or different types of it)

I am painting it with Petit Easypoxy (same as the boat) and with the last coat will be adding a non-skid additive. I should have pics up in the next few days as I should be applying the non-skid either Wed or Thurs.

I've seen those other products as well, but I'm trying to find an inexpensive option. I was at West Marine yesterday pricing out topside paints, and realized that at close to $100 a gallon, I may not be able to finish my project in the near future. What makes these paints non-skid, a sand-like material?

I have seen a recommendation for Ultra Tuff, which is a polyurethane coating which uses grandualized rubber (I guess from old tires or something). Has anyone used this product or similar? Its found at Bass Pro Shop, and I have seen a Cabablas (sp? & no stores here in GA) version here on these forums.

Read up on it on their website www.ultratuff.net. I had some samples sent to me and I really like the feel of it.
