Drill Sizes?

Hi Guys I lost my charts if someone has one handy can you tell me if I'm right or not....Well here it is
Aircraft size # 40 is .0980 decimal size right?
Aircraft size # 53 is .0595 decimal size right?
Have to drill the passages on this old Marvel Schebler carb so buddy can get his old JD 630 back working

My box-o-bits agrees with you although mine doesn't go to the 4th point and lists #53 as .059.

Dolluper, you are exactly right with the above info. Those are the correct sizes per numbered drill. Go for it.

Has been a long time since I worked on one of those old farm tractors with those prersky Marvel Schebler carbs but I cleaned out the passage ways with the drill bit and threw the carb back together and that JD 630 2 cylinder sure does run sweet now.....owner says almost like brand new.....I was only 4 when it was built
