Riser and manifold pics.
I didn't get a good picture of my manifold, but it "appears" the PORT (Non-overheating) side has a hairline fracture next to the engine. I drained this frikking thing when I winterized it last fall. Looks I didn't get all the water out of the manifold
The other manifold and riser looks good (on the outside) but I haven't gotten it off yet. I'll try to get a good picture of what I think is the fracture tomorrow evening.
This port Riser is coming all to pieces in the waterjacket area with lots of metal pieces shaking out.
So it sounds like I need to replace risers at a minimum huh?
Well at least the exhaust shutter looks good
Speaking of the exhaust shutter, should I leave that in there or go ahead and remove it? My engine has the 6" risers, not the 3" risers.
