trailer vin anyway to determine which make?

I have a boat trailer with no vin plate and no gvw plate either. Is there a way to determine the actual make of the trailer by the vin on the title?

Are there any letters at all in the VIN or on the title documents anywhere? Sometimes you catch a break and get a few that give you a hint. The NC title for my trailer from the previous owner actually had a line saying Make - EZLO (EZ Loader...)
