Re: Teen Driving

I hope I didn't offend anybody here with the "elderly" post. If so, it wasn't my intention. My only point was that while teens do some dumb things behind the wheel, they seem to be the only ones that take a rap for it, when in fact, there are poor drivers of every age group. Actually, the best drivers I know are the ones who also ride motorcycles, not the ones who use the road as their own private racetrack, but people who actually travel, or commute on motorcycles. They really have to learn situational awareness, and JB, I would put ex-Racers easily in that category and more-so. I'd take a drive with you any time.

Re: Teen Driving

I agree.. the other two accidents i avoided. one was becuase of a cop that slammed his breaks on a busy road to make the next turn for a call he must have gotten.. and the other the lady had to be about in her 40s .. so i dont think its fair to say that teens are the worst drivers.. yah there are alot of them that fool around and think their superman.. but not all are that way.. i dont drive like that cuz i try and save on gas. and really dont feel like getting into and accident and killing one of my freinds and having to deal with that the rest of my life.. but like he said.. there are poor drivers of every age group and im sure each one of us have driven like that at least one time in our life.. not for long maybe just for a day. but did somehting stupid while driving.. .. but what this lady did was crazy. and i couldnt beleive that the lady kenny almost hit flipped out on him as he was crawling out of the wreck... they have pictures of the car that i will post on monday

I would bet that most bike riders are safe drivers and that most of the accidents where they are killed ARE NOT CAUSED BY THEM .

So it was time for the local paper..(only comes once a week).. well in the letters to the editor section 12 letters were published ten of them said the same thing as you guys.. everyone said that she should have known the facts..and why didnt she stop to see if her friend was alright if she could tell it was her car.. she just went home..to write that letter.. Kennys mom wrote one and it seems to be the most calm one.
