Hello, I winterized my '96 evinrude 130 last year and I tried to start it over the weekend but it didnt fire :(. There was no spark at the plugs and no voltage at the end of the plug wires. Does anyone have any ideas of that the problem could be? Kill switch? Is there any way to test the kill switch? My kill switch has been stuck in the correct position for years now. Thanks!

I'm a relative rookie to this whole thing but I had a heckuva time getting my motor started this weekend. When I checked for spark, I was getting absolutely zero spark. It wasn't until I started to really study my wiring diagram that the kill switch came into view. When I depressed the button the motor started right up. My uneducated guess is the kill switch is bad. How one can go about testing it, I'm unsure. It may appear to be "stuck" in the correct position but it may have moved just enough to keep your motor from starting.
