I bought a 1976 6hp johnson for a kicker. I want to connect to the main motor at the front and have bought the kit to do so but I can't see how it connects to the kicker. The 6hp just has a little slot at the front on the bar you would connect to Is there some type of connector that fits in there?

Thanks
Greg

Impossible to tell with out a picture.
I wouldn't even worry about it. I just lock down my kicker more less straight, then just use the big motor to steer

I do that too, but it sure does cause a lot of drag. The steering connector was used for years. gmorris, you have a PM
