Congrats to Mrs. i386

She finished her masters last summer. Tomorrow she'll be walking across the stage to accept her diploma. She graduates Suma Cum Laude (highest honors). She did most of her bachelors and masters while working a full time job. We're very proud of her.

Congrats to her. That is a great accomplishment. If you don't mind me asking, what program and school did she do? I've been thinking about going back for my Masters in an EMBA program.

Wow! Summa Cum Laude is Supreme Honors; the Summit of academic achievement.

Summa usually takes a 4.0 GPA. That is very hard to maintain for 4 to 6 years.

I am more proud of the Summa Cum Laude sticker on my degree than the Ph.D part.

You both have every reason to be extra proud. Congratulations!

Thanks all. We had a great day. The commencement opened with bagpipes and drums which was really cool to see and hear. Afterward it was family, food, gifts and all that good stuff. She teaches art, art history, and technology as it applies to art at a private school. She's been welcomed back for her second year next year.
