1996 mariner 60 hp jet changeover to prop

can anyone help me is this an easy job I am mechanically inclined I would like to change from jet to prop and prop to jet depending on water conditions does anyone have a lower unit for this? any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I saw your post and thought I'd reply. I have a 98 Tracker/Mercury 60HP motor that I may want to convert to a jet. Would you be interested in a swap? Not sure if it's doable between Mariner and Tracker/Mercury?
