JB, are you West of Dallas?
There is a boat for sale in Tyler Tx, which on my calcluations is about 80-100m west of Dallas.
If you were 60m from Southlake, on W side of Dallas, then you'd be real close to Tyler.
The boat I have seen is overpriced and may have a 2 stroke motor (not my 1st choice), but before I start making enquiries, best I check to see if I can actually complete a purchase if they say "yes".
The boat (which we have categorised as) 2002-Southlake-Tx is on the warf here in Brisbane, so should be in my hands within 10 days. I am looking forward to getting it.
Cheers
Phillip

Tyler is, as Vlad says, about 100 mi ESE of Dallas and about 200 miles from The Hideout, Phil.

Lovely city. My #3 daughter lived there for a while. Famous for roses.

Spots...Daryl..........great to hear from you again mate.
Seeing you'r back, I better raise a thread about what you did for our 50 and 60th birthdays. That should create a bit of interest with all these blokes.
Actually it is 9 since Dec 07.

Thanks JB.....200m is a bit far for a sunday drive.
Anyway I will keep thinking things thru, and now I know the detail I can pass it on to Vic in San Diego and we will discuss it.

Did I ever mention to you I have a love of Roses....when I started in plants, 20yrs back, my 1st job was in the City Rose Garden....became the curator in the end.
My favourite is Mr Lincoln.

Vlad
looked you up on google maps.
quick question:
what international shipping port is in or close to Florida?
I know the Company I deal with have Packers in Savannah, but always thought that too far away from Florida.

For south Florida, Miami would be your best bet. For NW Florida, I would say possibly Tampa and definately Mobile, Alabama. For NE Florida I am less sure but I would think Jacksonville would have a fair amount of international frieght shipping in and out.

Jacksonville is a big shipping port, as well as Brunswick, and Savannah. i would be glad to lend you a hand in north Fl, or south Ga.
