How Was Your Memorial Day?

So how was everyone's Memorial Day weekend? Mine was great. We spent two days on the lake and even got my sister, BIL and Niece out on the tubes and skies on Sunday. First time to have 9 folks on a 10 person boat. I find it more fun watching the kids have fun. Took a few minutes today to talk to the kids about what the day was all about. It was windy as heck today and even white capped on the lake. That is rare for a lake of only 3,489 acres.

Watching the news tonight, it seems that we only, and I say only, had two drownings at the local lakes, both adults. I thick this is down from last year. Don't know yet the damage caused from BWI but that will soon be told.

mine was great also bhammer! we went to the lake and tubed and kneeboarded ( my first time kneeboarding ) and grilled hamburgers! we were on the lake for 12 hours! some guy that my uncle knew had a glastron with a 350 vortec in it. he took me and my buddy out for spin on his tube and man!! it was awsome!

beside the 80 bucks i spent on gas and my nice sun. . . . . . burn, it was great!!

I was the only one home for Memorial Day and the Memorial Day weekend. Wife was in CA visiting family and I got to stay home and hold down the fort whilst not taking out the boat. :-(
