Does anyone have any experience with the wiring on a 1991 Nissan Pathfinder? It has 2 wires from the drivers side and 3 from the passenger side. I have heard conflicting connection theories on this because I have a 4 flat plug to my boat trailer and I have 5 wires from my tow vehicle. I was told the left turn was the blue/grey with red stripe, the right turn was the grey/red with red stripe, the brake was the green/yellow with the red stripe. They didnt specify the other 2 wires on the drivers side. One has to be the ground. I have a test light. I was then told by someone else that the Yellow from the boat trailer goes to the brake, the green goes to the right turn, the brown goes to the taillight/drive and the white is the ground. I still am left with one wire which is the left turn, correct? I am confused and any help would be appreciated.

Re: Trailer wiring

You need one of these. Just plug it into your trucks factory harness and go.
They come with instructions.
Available at better hitch retailers every where!! :D
