Help! My mid-eighties Mariner 60 3 cylinder has one cylinder that only like to wake up after 10 minutes of use. Carbs are rebuilt, fuel pump is rebuilt, new coils, lead wires and plugs. It starts and runs fine on two and really sings when number 3 (always the bottom cylinder) comes on board. Any ideas? Thanks!:(

I think you have a temperature sensitive component in your ignition system that has to get hot to work.

Crank her up on muffs. I expect she will be runnning on two. Use a hair dryer (not a heat gun) to heat up ignition parts associated with the dead cylinder. When it comes on you will have just heated the bad part.
