Air Filter??

i just noticed that there is no air filter on my boat. it is the L drive so the motor is enclosed but dirt could still get in the engine right?? This may be a stupid ? but just wondering

Out boards dont use air filters. There is very little dust and dirt in the air on a lake so the filter is not needed.

Boats don't go down dusty roads...just a "bug screen"..if that....anyway..NO FILTER...yer fine..
