88 merc 80hp

I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem. My 80hp merc throttle control box has started intermiternly making a "chirping" noise, has anyone heard of this? Thanks, JR

Thats the warning horn, steady tone is heat and intermitant is oil

Thanks Laddies, this thing only does this for short priods and the engine is still exausting smoke, any ideas? Thanks, JR

The oil warning system on your engine is for oil level only, I would start by disconnecting the blue wires that go into the bottom of the oil tank. If that does not stop the problem then the oil module is bad and needs replacing. If it does stop it, either the sender that goes into the tank must be replaced of the magnet in the tank is loose and the tank will have to be replaced.
