Help with my first Outboards?

Just bought my first boat...johnsen 14.5 ....it came with 2 motors: Johnson 5 hp seahorse Model LD-10S and a Johnson 9.5 hp seahorse Model MQ-12A. I have the 9.5 running good, but i am still working on the 5 hp (it pulls nice, but won't fire...i have to start with the basics). Can someone tell me how I know where to set the Rich/Lean at? Sorry if that sounds stupid, but like I said, It's my first. Also, with those model numbers, can someone tell me the years of the motors? One more thing, what is the exact fuel mixture?

mq-12a is a 1966 9.5hp.

ld-10s is a 1965 5hp

to just get it started twist it untill seated all the way in then back out 1 turn this will get you running then find joe reeves post (thumnailed at top about carb adjustment!)
