130HP Johnson gear oil?

I have a 96' 130HP Johnson and changed the lower end gear oil with Quicksilver high performance gear lube, is its OK to use in OMC?

Yes, you are right, it is a little late but just wanted to be sure. The boat is new to me and I trying to catch-up on some maintenance items.
