I think I just got a great deal on a boat, if I can keep it running. I bought it without having it run. It is a pull start (my shoulders are fried) and I do not have a manual yet. I thought what was the primer button was a kill buttton, so half the day I wasn't using it. What is the proper protocal for how many pumps is normal, etc. Also where should the red arrow be when starting? I thought I had it on start but it was on shift (the words are faded). When I put it down to fast it started. Also where is a good initial setting for the lean/rich dial? The problem I'm having is it runs for a few seconds and dies. The fuel tank bulb is always soft when I check it. I pump it up,it's firm, it starts for a little bit and dies. So it's not getting fuel, correct? I know i need to spray the carbs clean and Maybe rebuild when I get a manual. So is it just the carbs? Do these use fuel pumps, can I check mine and where is it? Thanks
