evinrude 115 hp fuel pump 1977 model

I can not understand if the fuel pump i have on is correct one outlet or two or does it make a diferance? My motor will run fine untill I gas on it and the the rpms start to jump up and down ,then I have a friend pump the bulb and it starts to pick up speed till he stops . took the pump apart nothing looks bad HELP

welcome to iboats. your pump should look like this, but this is not the correct pump. site to find your sierra number is down, your BRP number is 388268

No fuel pump can work if there is an air leak between the pump and tank. It is easier to suck air than to lift gas.

I replaced all fuel lines and put on fuel line clamps still same problem

that fuel pump is for up to 15 hp
