yamaha f115 no start after running

maybe one of you can help me or have experienced the same problem.
After running my motor for awhile and shut it down, i cannot get it to start unless i go to wide open throttle in neutral and pull it back after it starts real quick. this occurs about 50% of the time. F115 has 300 hour on it and has been a great motor but this has got me puzzled. any ideas out there.

check why your intake air is getting so rich, I think there is a tech bulliten on hot restart.
whats happening is the vpors or possibly raw fuel is being introduced into the inake track. at about 3/4 throttle and a crank signal the injectors get shut off, flood clearing.
its an abnormal situation.
other than testing all systems, this is where the diagnostics come in handy. it will quickly eliminate whats not broke.
remember the VST vents to the intake manifold, vapors and in the case of a leaking needle valve can create an over rich mix for hot restart.
once restarted are there any other running issues ?

no other issues everything checks out perfect electronically. i pulled the vst vent off of my intake manifold to see if i had fuel there and even added a length of hose and vented it overboard to check it out but it makes no difference. i have run out of ideas,,thanks for replying. where can i get my hands on the tech bulletins, no luck on the net or local dealer

I am having the same problem. After running for awhile and a short stop, it will crank but not fire. It will re-start after about 5-10 tries in 15-20 minutes. It smelled at first, not exactly like gas or electrical but kind of like a diesel running on cooking oil. Wierd. Its happened twice in the last few months. I had mutiple other stops and re-starts on the same day without issue. Have not been able to troubleshoot anything except that there is no water visible in filter housing and primer bulb is tight. Any more suggestions would be appreciated.
