First of all: I'm sooo glad I found these forums!
Here's the long and short of it all.
I'm looking at a 1969 Trihull 15' project boat.
Here's what I know.
The back 1/2 of the floor has to be replaced. No doubt the stringers are junk as well. The transom has to be replaced as well because the outboard flexes almost 10 degrees when pushed down and it sound almost hollow when knocking on the outside of it.
I'm a total noob at this stuff and so far, these forums have increased my knowledge 100 fold!
So the question is: What's the best book to get that covers all aspects of fiberglass repair for boats. I love these forums but I'd like to have a book handy when something unexpected comes up and as a backup to all the veterans help around here.
Can anyone recommend the best book they've used.
Until Tuesday I had no idea what the heck roven woving was!
