Re: amplifier ?

There is something screwy about this story. The black and white wire connects the amplifier to the breaker points. How can it possibly run with it disconnected? You would have no signal from the points to trigger the amplifier to fire.

Or do you have some off-breed amplifier with wierd wires?

Re: amplifier ?

If you actually have the white-black point wire disconnected, as F R said, how could it possibley run? Ckeck to see if the anti-reverse spring is possibly broken, it's around the crankshaft, under the mag plate. Also, take the safety clipper out of the circuit, if the pak has been replaced, it should have been removed anyway, and try again.

Re: amplifier ?

thats the wire i disconnected and it started i took a cpl pictures to show the one and the amp it comes but they are to big to upload on here so if you want to see them let me know and i can email them to ya and yes this thing is very screwy cause i thought by unpluging it it wouldnt do anything and i could check for voltage or something coming from it so i turned the key and it started right up lol thanks everybody this one might just get everyone scratching their heads trying to figure out lol

Re: amplifier ?
