Just got done installing a powerwinch sportfish 450.
Removed cleat. Placed deck template. Make sure holes on the template match up w/ the bottome of windlass before drilling the hole on deck. On this windlass one hole was off by about 1/2 inch.
Holes complete! I used the powerwinch models cause the motor housing didn't extend pass the gypsy. On the 2101/2002 you have the hatch to the anchor locker close to the center line and this model fit perfectly.
Finished! Had to relocate the cleat. Used 1/2 starboard above and below deck as backing board. I used black (white would match better) cause that was what I had at the moment.
